Recovery Room Phase II Relief			02/20/2007
Department:		Full-Time: Relief
Description:
Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing, provides safe, quality patient care in the Phase II Recovery room area. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development.
Duties:
The RN will be caring for patient's recovering from a variety of ambulatory surgery procedures: Orthopedic, ENT, Plastics, General, Gynecologic, and pain procedures. The RN will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform job-related duties as requested by their supervisor to include different areas of the ambulatory surgery setting. This position if Relief and will staff the Surgery Center as needed for sick calls, vacation, and other leave requests by current employees. Flexibility for coverage of days is required for this position.
Education Requirements:	Experience Requirements:
Current MT RN license CPR ACLS-preferred Current TB test	PACU and/or Ambulatory Surgery experience preferred.

Surgical Tech Relief			02/20/2007

Description:
Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing, provides safe, quality patient care in the Operating Room area. Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient’s Bill of Rights. Demonstrates professional growth and development.
Duties:
Under the direction of the ciculating RN will be caring for patient's during surgical procedures in the operating room for a variety of ambulatory surgery procedures: Orthopedic, ENT, Plastics, General, Gynecologic, and pain procedures. The surgical tech will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform job-related duties as requested by their supervisor to include different areas of the ambulatory surgery setting.
Education Requirements:	Experience Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited training program for surgical techs. CST-preferred CPR Certification TB Test	Ambulatory Surgery and/or operating room experience preferred
Job Notes:
Assists in preparation for cases by “picking cases” and set-up and maintenance of sterile field, cleaning, putting sets together for sterilization and sterilizing each set post-op. May also function as surgeon’s second assistant.Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to function in a very fast-paced, service oriented environment.

Circulating RN Operating Room			05/05/2008
